...At the end of February the first two daffodils bloom and also some purple and yellow crocos flower. A few days later the crocos pickwic come out, with purple stripes on a white background.

On the 20th of March there is a light snow fall and the hyacints, already flowered, look extremely beautiful due to the snow.

A little later the tulips begin to bloom. The first ones are botany, pinkish and yellow, then the black, orange and red parrot. The viridiflora are to follow, with white and pinkish petals and a bright green groove.

The rembrandt are late to arrive and when the buds show up the characteristic flames can't be seen. Only when the flower is big, the flame begin to grow through the petal, a net of red vessels that change to purple and at the same time the petal starts to wrinkle.

In April the triunph tulips bloom, red, yellow, purple...

At the beginning of May the flowers of the purple, pink and white anemones open, they are splendid, but not the red ones, (the big ones so many a time drawn): I am in the waiting...
